Spry Vertical Menu with colored background submenus
The Stylesheet for the vertical flyout menu can be found HERE. I have left the original comments to style the menu widget intact, but have also commented areas that were changed to create the sub menus.
If you want the submenus / flyouts to have a different background color to the parent link, you will need to create descendant selectors and style them as required.
The same principal would apply for a horizontal menu .
